DOLGOV GROUP PURCHASED NEW FARMING EQUIPMENT FOR 3 MILLION EURO
The leader of the region’s agrarian sector, the agroholding company Dolgov Group completely updated its agricultural machinery by the beginning of harvesting.
In particular, since the beginning of 2018 the company has purchased about 10 additional high-class John Deere tractors as well as 5 new loaders, 18 trailers (seeders, sprayers, fertilizer spreaders etc.) from the world-famous manufacturers Amazone and BERGMANN.
- Another batch of three new tractors John Deere came just on the eve of the harvest campaign, - said the head of the Dolgov Group technical procurement department Yevgeny Selifonov. - This is modern and high-performance machinery with the high-quality optimisation system, which allows an employee to feel much more comfortable by completely controlling the process of working via computer.
In the near future, two combine harvesters John Deere will start operating on the fields of the agricultural holding company, the demonstration versions S790 and T690. These are new-generation rotary and key-type harvesters, fully automated and equipped with optimised settings. If the new John Deere prove themselves to be good in the field, the agroholding company intends to purchase another 10 machines of this level by the end of the year.
It should be reminded that in 2018 the agroholding company DolgovGrupp was among the 55 largest owners of agricultural land in Russia with a common land bank of 100,000 hectares.
As the head of the agricultural holding Dmitry Dolgov noted, the increase in arable land makes it possible to set ambitious plans not only for harvesting this summer but also the sowing campaign for the fall.
‘We planned to plant at least 20,000 hectares of winter wheat, 15,000 hectares of rapeseed, and more than 1,000 hectares for barley in the fall’, Dolgov explained. ‘Such scope requires the use of very powerful and high-performance equipment, so we spent a total of 3 million euros to buy the best of what is produced in the world for agricultural activities, e.g. John Deere tractors and combines, trailers of the world’s leading Amazone and BERGMANN. These machines can ensure timely sowing
