A NEW CENTER FOR TRAINING SPECIALISTS OPENED IN GUSEV
The Head of the personnel service of the agricultural holding company DolgovGroup I.Yu. Tamarovskaya took part in the opening ceremony of the Specialized Competence Center “Veterinary”, which opened in the college of agricultural technologies and environmental engineering in Gusev town. The center is opened as part of the implementation of the regional project “Young Professionals” of the national project “Education”.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Kaliningrad Region I.A. Barinov, the Minister of Education of the region S.S. Trusenyova, the Head of the Administration of the Gusevsky urban district A.A. Kitaev, representatives of a number of educational institutions and enterprises.
The new center was developed to train veterinary specialists who will master the profession under conditions close to production. The center is accredited according to international standards and is equipped with modern training equipment. Not only students of this educational institution, but also representatives of other colleges of the region will study here. In addition, on the basis of the Center the preparation for contests and professional skill competitions will take place, as well as the WorldSkills Regional Championship and the State Final Examination in the form of a demonstrative examination.
As the guests noted, the material and technical equipment of the Center allows preparing graduates of a high professional level, and it is no coincidence that employers are already showing interest for it.
It is interesting to note that the agricultural holding company DolgovGroup and the Gusev Agricultural College are long-standing partner. In the context of cooperation, joint vocational guidance events are organized, including practical trainings at the company's enterprises. As I.Yu. Tamarovskaya noted the agricultural holding company is developing dynamically, every year new modern agricultural enterprises are opened, and this implies the availability of qualified specialists. Many college graduates are already valuable employees of the agricultural holding company. Irina Yurievna expressed confidence that the current practice will continue. She also noted that the opening of the Specialized Competence Center will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector of economy and the professional development of those who work in it.
