BUTTER OF NEZHINSKAYA BRAND CONFIRMED THE REAL STATUS
The Roskontrol Consumers Union, together with the Public Control St. Petersburg Public Consumer Organization and the Presidium Consumer Rights Protection Society, monitored the quality of butter. The research involved both regional and federal brands. 36 samples of butter were tested, both from well-known brands and manufacturers, as well as from small companies whose products attract consumers mainly due to their low price.
The test involved 72.5 and 82.5 percent fat, purchased at trade outlets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Experts determined the main indicators for identifying falsified products, including the fatty acid content of fat, cholesterol and phytosterins, trans-isomers, as well as the mass fraction of fat.
Only 9 of 36 samples tested appeared to be real butter. Among them is Krestyanskoe butter Nezhinskaya from Gusevmoloko LLC, which is the part of DolgovGroup agricultural holding company.
Such a result is not accidental. The quality and safety of products, as well as compliance with all sanitary and hygienic rules and standards is a priority in the work of the enterprise. The plant has its own production laboratory, which is equipped with the latest technology with all the necessary instruments and materials for laboratory research and analysis. Product quality is monitored at every stage of production: from checking incoming milk to evaluating the finished product. In addition, it is tested monthly in third-party accredited laboratories.
The high quality of products under the Nezhinskaya brand has been repeatedly confirmed at various levels. In particular, Krestyanskoe butter of the Cote de France brand (manufacturer is Gusevmoloko LLC) on the ANO Russian Quality System website is presented as an absolutely safe product that meets all the requirements of GOST and claims to receive the Russian Quality Mark.
It should be added that the butter on Gusevmoloko is made from natural cream, without adding any ingredients.
