DOLGOVGROUP" TAKES PART IN THE REGIONAL PRO EDUCATION EXHIBITION

The exhibition is held fr om 8 to 11 September 2020 within the framework of the national project Education and is aimed at showing high-tech developing sectors of the economy, the Kaliningrad region’s vocational education system and relevant approaches to career guidance in educational institutions. More than 20 educational institutions and business partners of the region participate in it annually.

This year the exhibition is being held for the fifth time and, due to the epidemiological situation, in a remote format. On the exhibition portal (https://koiro39.online/prof2020/# ) virtual rooms have been created in various activities, where specialists from organisations and enterprises introduce students to professions in real time and promptly answer all questions.

The live streaming on the topic Agriculture, which took place at the site of the Gusev College of Agrotechnology and Environmental Engineering, was attended by representatives of the DolgovGroup Agricultural Group, Head of HR I.Yu. Tamarovskaya and Head of the Marketing Department N.E. Peregudova. According to the statistics, more than two hundred people took part in the live streaming.

Talking about the multifaceted activities of the Group, the speakers emphasised that today it is not possible to imagine the agricultural sector without business process digitalisation and mass automation, or the work of combine operators, agronomists and livestock breeders without IT solutions. As Irina Tamarovskaya noted, the top 5 most demanded professions of the future are agrocyberneticist, operator of automated agricultural machinery, breeding specialist, agricultural engineer and livestock breeder-geneticist. That is our tomorrow’s future. Many advanced technologies have already been implemented at DolgovGroup enterprises, such as space monitoring of crops, information chips in animal neck collars and automated systems on farms and seда-contained GPS modules in combines. This and much more prove that agriculture today is a high-tech sector, wh ere there is room for both breakthrough engineering ideas and creativity. You can gain a colossal professional experience in the Group. The employees always have the opportunity to improve their qualifications and acquire additional skills including related professions, which is quite relevant in the modern world.

As emphasised during live streaming, the agro-industrial sector sustainability is driven by its focusing on the daily basic human need for food. This means that there will always be demand for agricultural professions.
